We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Permanent Building Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, with a thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems.
This role is integral to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our facilities.
The Building Engineer will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC related equipment, and will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of operation.
Responsibilities:
As a Building Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will include:
1.
Overseeing and conducting regular building inspections to identify and rectify potential issues before they escalate.
2.
Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
3.
Monitoring and maintaining all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and automation systems.
4.
Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standard.
5.
Responding to emergency calls related to building maintenance and troubleshoot issues in a timely and efficient manner.
6.
Keeping accurate records of all inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
7.
Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in building maintenance or a related field.

A thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems.

Proven experience in performing preventative maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC related equipment.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
