Join our team at the Adventure Center for the summer! The Adventure Center is the center for family activities, including paddle boating, kayak, stand up paddleboard and canoe rentals, fish feeding and bike rentals.
There is also an indoor arcade and food facilities.
Guests can also play volleyball or visit our tree house in the adjacent Decatur field.
Job Responsibilities: Greet every guest with a smile and provide exceptional guest service Assist customers with bike and boat rentals Complete cash and credit card sales and returns on point of sale Complete food and beverage sales at snack bar, including alcohol sales Follow and monitor proper cash handling procedures as outlined in the bank contract and training manual Ability to be self-motivated and willing to work in both fast and slow paced environments Assist with monthly inventory counts Assist with staff supervision Accurately execute opening and closing procedures, including daily financial reports Monitor lake to enforce safety guidelines and watch for inclement weather; respond to any safety incidents on the lake or surrounding areas Utilize the Inventory Pool Viewer to monitor wagon ride counts and be prepared for check-ins Light cleaning and basic maintenance Assist with special events Job Qualifications: High school Degree - required College Degree - preferred One year previous cash handling experience - required 1+ years supervisory experience - required 1+ years opening and closing cash registers - preferred Bartending experience - preferred Previous guest service experience - required Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Current TIPS certification or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire- required Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Able to stand for long periods of time Fluent in the English language, both written and verbal - required We're looking for team members who are passionate about their work and the world around them, who take pride in ensuring our guests receive the best possible service and who bring a sense of self and fun to all they do.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
