The?Entry Cook?is responsible for basic food preparation tasks, such as cutting up meat and fish, cleaning, peeling, slicing, chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients, etc. May use basic cooking skills to work on a line or in a cooking station, such as the broiler, fryer, oven, grill, or saut? station and be responsible for set up of assigned station. May be responsible for loading and unloading food product to remote meal sites for preparation. ?

Qualifications:



  • Basic knowledge and application of sanitary practices, personal hygiene, safe food handling, and basic kitchen practices.

  • Desire and ability to work as part of a team as well as completing tasks with minimal supervision at times.

  • Conversational level and written English a requirement.

  • Prior cooking experience in high volume situations, strongly preferred.

  • All food court cook positions require guest facing interactions, excellent guest service & a desire to provide an experience of a lifetime to every guest is an essential function of this position.

  • This position requires Certified Slip Resistant shoes PRIOR to the first day of work in the outlet, the candidate is required to provide their own shoes.

  • This position will involve lifting (up to 40lbs), standing and walking for long periods of time (up to 10? hours), mixed scheduling (days, evenings), working weekends and holidays, utilizing kitchen equipment (slicers, knives, dish machines, chemicals), and possible outdoor work.

The Summit House?s central location on top of Dercum Mountain makes it a great place to meet up with friends and family, catch a bite to eat, grab a quick drink or just to check out one of the best views in Summit County. Open during the winter and summer, primarily a fast-paced, turn and burn style cafeteria.? Employee?s working here will need to ride the River Run Gondola to work each day, so plan accordingly.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
