Keystone Resort Property Management is the premier property management company at¬ Keystone Resort, providing comprehensive management services to both homeowner associations¬ and individual homeowners renting their units on a short term basis.¬ This Vacation¬ Rental Manager¬ (VRM II) manages 150+ vacation condos near the¬ base of Keystone Resort by¬ working closely with the Community Association¬ Management, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Front Office¬ teams¬ to deliver Vail Resorts' mission of Experience of a Lifetime to homeowners and guests. Success in this position is strong financial performance, well-maintained properties and satisfied homeowners and guests. No two days look the same in vacation¬ rental management.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Building¬ and maintaining relationships with homeowners to facilitate acquisition and retention of management agreements for vacation homes.

  • Managing Rental Program including¬ acquisition and retention¬ of rental management contracts, onboarding and off boarding of properties, coordination of housekeeping and maintenance,¬ inspections pre-arrival and post-departure, as well as¬ working with Revenue Management¬ and Reservations teams to maximize rental revenue and occupancy.

  • Providing exceptional service to rental guests, homeowners and homeowners' guests.

  • Reviewing all electronic post-stay surveys, addressing issues, and following up with respondents.

  • Interviewing, hiring, training and¬ performance management of¬ on-property staff, both management and front line.

  • Managing Homecare Program including inspections, coordination of repair or maintenance work and communication with homeowner when appropriate.

  • Coordinating property improvements, deliveries, and projects in managed properties.

  • Overseeing¬ and supporting annual Unit Quality Rating, Spring Cleaning, and Preventative Maintenance Inspection programs.

  • Tracking and billing for¬ repair and maintenance work completed by staff.

  • Creating PO's and processing vendor invoices.

  • Reviewing monthly homeowner billing statements for accuracy and provide resolution for complaints about charges.

  • Review and approve Asgard billings to owners.



Job Requirements:


  • Experience in and passion for service.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks to satisfy various stakeholders.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.¬ Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

  • Maintenance experience or familiarity.

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills in English.¬ Ability to read, comprehend and write¬ complex correspondence¬ and effectively¬ communicate¬ with guests and homeowners¬ using diplomacy and tact required. Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.

  • Two years of experience in vacation rental or¬ hotel management is required.

  • Experience with Property Management software applications such as SMS, PMS or LMS is preferred.

  • Proficient¬ with Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, Outlook.

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
