The Ski Patrol Training Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Keystone Ski Patrol training in accordance with the compliance with Keystone Ski Patrol standards.¬

Job Requirements



  • Extensive knowledge of ski patrol including but not limited to: all medical, trails, scheduling, weather, training, avalanche, snowmobile, accident investigation, and lift evacuation operations at the Keystone Ski Patrol Advanced Patroller level or above.

  • Extensive knowledge of mountain operations, including but not limited to: snowmaking, risk management, terrain park, lift maintenance, competition services, lift operations, mountain safety, food & beverage, events, and transportation.

  • Demonstrates effective communication skills and strong guest service skills

  • Time management skills

  • Leadership ability

  • Strong decision making skills

  • Effective working relationships inter/intra departmentally

Job Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or equivalent - required

  • Intermediate Patroller or above - required

  • Current Keystone Ski Patroller - preferred

  • Previous supervisory experience - preferred

  • Current OEC, EMT-B or higher medical certification - required, CO License - preferred

  • Knowledge of MS Office - required

  • Fluent in all aspects of English language - required

  • Must be versed in all facets of the Patrol business

  • Expert Skiing skills - preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
