Assistant Manager - Hospitality Building Maintenance - Keystone Resort

Maintain all aspects of the property, with a strong emphasis on asset maintenance. Train the engineering staff to be competent with brand standards, guest service calls, safety and job function. Use the Work Order system to measure productivity and efficiency of the engineering department. Maintain the property with respect to all applicable Industry, Federal, State and Local Codes. Vail resorts core values are necessary to succeed in this function.

  • Maintain checkbooks for all Engineering Department budgets.
  • Manage Payroll, includes monthly billing of maintenance technicians.
  • Maintain purchasing, receiving, and invoicing for department in accordance with procurement and accounting policies.
  • Assist with new applicants and hiring processes.
  • Co-ordinate routine maintenance schedules, appointments and bookings.
  • Good attitude and people skills even during high pressure situations.
  • Monitor procedures for record keeping that ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment and abide by all safety rules and regulations
  • Direct the daily activities of the department. Plan, organize and control work, communicate goals, and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage. Communicate and enforce policies, procedures, rules and standards.
  • Educate/train associates on emergency procedures and safety issues to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations for the protection of guest and associates.
  • Oversee the physical operations of the property including maintenance and repair of all interior and exterior of buildings including lawn care and landscaping.
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all assigned work areas.
  • Ensure the achievement of the property s (preventative, planned and schedule) maintenance programs to meet brand standards, Market Matrix and corporate requirements and property goals.
  • Coordinate work activities with supervisor.
  • As requested help supervise capital projects to meet scope of work requirement and to ensure timely completion of project within budget and established future maintenance commitments.
  • Inspect or have inspected purchases delivered to assure price, quality, consistency and warranties.
  • Monitor department productivity and efficiency with automated system (CMMS, HotSos, other) or manually based on the work order (WO) system, weekly, biweekly or monthly as required by supervisor.
  • Implement OSHA, EPA and ADA guidelines and programs. Abide by all safety rules and regulations per corporate policies State and Federal codes
  • Any other job related duties or function.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
